What's New at the Bolton Free Library

New Books

In January and February, the Bolton Free Library added many new books to its collection.

The new adult fiction includes: Deep Storm by Lincoln Child, Hide by Lisa Gardner, The Alexandria Link by Steve Berry, Against the Day by Thomas Pynchon, High Profile by Robert B. Parker, Brother Odd by Dean Koontz, The Brotherhood of the Holy Shroud by Julia Navarro, Bad Blood by Linda Fairstein, The Machiavelli Covenant by Allan Folsom, Spider Mountain by Peter Deutermann, The Cat Who Had 60 Whiskers, Hannibal Rising by Thomas Harris, Natural Born Charmer by Susan Elizabeth Phillips, Treasure of Khan by Clive Cussler, Memory Keeper's Daughter by Kim Edwards, The Suspect by John Lescroart, Step on a Crack by James Patterson, The Watchman by Robert Crais, Storm Runners by T. Jefferson Parker, and Innocent Traitor by Alison Weir.

The new adult non-fiction includes: The Soldier's Pen by Robert Bonner, What Got You Here Won't Get You There by Marshall Goldsmith, Running with Scissors by Augusten Burroughs, A Long Way Gone by Ishmael Baeh, The Miracle Detective by Randall Sullivan, The Templar Revelation by Lynn Picknett, and A Perfect Union - Dolley Madison & the Creation of the American Nation.

Some new young adult books include: Trigger by Susan Vaught, The Secret Twin by Denise Orenstein, Tamar by Mal Peet, Cures for Heartbreak by Margo Rabb, and Being Muslim by Haroon Siddiqui.

New Audiovisual

The library has added several new movies to its collection.

The new DVDs are Pride & Prejudice (with Colin Firth), Pirates of the Caribbean - Dead Man's Chest, Flags of Our Fathers, The Departed, Running with Scissors, Death in Holy Orders, Hollywoodland, The Mask of Zorro, The Secret, Babel, Man of the Year, Flushed Away, What the Bleep? Down the Rabbit Hole, Idlewild, Snakes on a Plane, Crank, and Eulogy. We have also added one new video, U-571.

We have also added some new books on CD, which include: Christmas Letters by Debbie Macomber, The Devil's Feather by Minette Walters, The Crimson Portrait by Jody Shields, Advanced Energy Anatomy by Caroline Myss, The Machiavelli Covenant, and Books That Have Made History - Books That Have Changed Your Life by Professor J. Rufus Fears.
